To be honest, I thought the box would be bigger 😁. The device itself is 2cm in diameter, overall very compact. What surprised me is that hot-plugging works faster than using a cable, and cold startup takes less than 10 seconds. I haven't found any glitches so far. If anything happens, I'll update the review. If it's helpful to anyone, the car brand is Chevrolet Tracker 2025, and the smartphone brand is Honor x9d.

It’s an amazing device. Every thing works like a charm. Setup in few seconds. When starting the car connects the mobile within 20 sec. The native sound system of the car totally changed to a luxury car sound system by a coin size device ! !! All the carplay supported apps works very smoothly without any lag. Thanks to the carlinkit team to gave a such product. Also supports online software upgrade.

I use it in the Ioniq 5, and in the first few days everything was great. Then I noticed that this device does not turn off even when the car is locked. In the range of this device, it is impossible to select a Wi-Fi hotspot because it always switches the phone to itself. After a week of use, the connection started to malfunction, but after unplugging it from the USB and plugging it back in, everything was fine. The problem probably lies not in this device, but in the way the USB port works in the Ioniq 5, because if the power to the USB had been cut off, some of the problems would not have occurred.

This device is better than i expected. Very compact size that comes with adapter to connect into usb-c port as well, very easy to setup (both android auto and apple car play), connects super fast and so far connection has proved to be very stable (no glitches). Just saw minor gap not connecting call audio through the car speakers after first tests, but fixed itself afterwards. Recommended
